Loftmar Stables Additional Services

Clinics: Throughout the year, we may offer mounted and non-mounted clinics to assist our riders in developing and improving their skills. Subject matter varies depending on interest, but has included Sports Psychology, Show Preparation, Showmanship, A Judge's Perspective of Horse and Rider, Equitation and Hunter clinics, and Vet Care. We encourage student's input on the types of clinics they would like to participate in or observe.

Bulletin Boards: To kee

p abreast of all the new happenings at Loftmar, you should regularly check the bulletin boards, which display important information. The first board posts general information about lesson schedules, summer camp, CHA certification, and necessary school horse information. The second board keeps you up to date on fun activities including parties, special events, and notes from former students and Loftmar friends. The third board keeps you informed on upcoming show series, equitation team news, and scheduled clinics.

Loftmar Stables Apparel: T-Shirts ($10) and water bottles ($7) are available. Products with the Loftmar Logo, such as sweatshirts, shorts, tote bags, hats, jackets, can be ordered.

Girl Scout Badges: The time y

ou spend at Loftmar can help you earn your Horse Lovers or Horseback Rider badges. We have a unique program established for Girl Scout Troops. At the completion of this short program, the participants will earn their Horse Lovers badge. More advanced riders may earn their Horseback Rider badge. Prices vary based on the number of participants.

Our Beautiful Show Ponies are dressed for the occasion with

navy and gray leads, halters, decorative saddle pads and if requested, pom poms in the mane and tail. Braiding of manes and tails are available at $35 per pony. They will be led around by our walkers in our navy and gray ring. Personnel wear Loftmar T-shirts and blue jeans. Great pride is taken in presenting an organized, quality service.

Company Events: We will transport our ponies to your fa

cility of choice. A typical party of 3 ponies will have present: a supervisor, adult leader and a walker for each pony. If it rains, we will continue to offer pony rides, provided there is no heavy rain or lightning. If these conditions occur, we will put the ponies in the trailer until the weather clears or until the end of our scheduled time.

Pony Rides At Your Home: Our driver brings the pony to your

house with a person to walk the pony for 1 hour. The cost is $225 for one pony or $325 for two ponies, plus $1 per mile traveled. If it rains, you may re-schedule for a mutually agreed upon time or apply your deposit to lessons if 2 hours notice is given.

Pony Rides at Loftmar Stables: 1

hour at Loftmar Stables, 15 children or less, is $160 for 1 pony or $225 for two ponies. 1/2 hour is $125 for one pony or $195 for two ponies, maximum 8 of children. Additional time without pony rides is $45 per hour. Customer must bring everything needed for the party and clean up afterwards. If it rains, and the indoor arena is not available, you may re-schedule for a mutually agreed upon time or apply your deposit towards lessons, provided 2 hours notice is given. We do have a picnic area available. Party Favors of polaroid pictures and white frames to paint.

General Information: To determine the number of ponies you need, allow 5 minutes per ride,

Loftmar does not limit the number of times any child may ride. A 50% nonrefundable deposit must be included with signed contract before the date will be reserved for you. Prices may increase during holidays. Ponies are only for the children to ride - not adults! Loftmar also offers:
