228. John6 Fowler (John5, John4, John3, (Capt.) William2, William1) was born in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut before 21 August 1747. John died 17 August 1787 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut, at age 39. His body was interred in Milford Cemetery in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut. "All gracious heaven is this the end of man A dreadful thought, a melancholy plan."

He married Mary Ann Harpin 22 October 1767 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut.(252) Mary was born 12 January 1753 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Harpin and Mary Camp. Mary died 25 November 1798 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut, at age 45. Her body was interred in Milford Cemetery in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut. "Beneath these clods are deposited the remains of Mrs Mary Ann Fowler who made her exit on the 25th Nov. 1798 ae 47 years. This kind relief the social passions crave Jesus himself, wept at a good man's grave." He was known as Lt. John Fowler.

John Fowler and Mary Ann Harpin had the following children:
