In Touch With Kids - Information on Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury
The In Touch With Kids Program (ITWK) is a free program for children with spinal cord injury 18 and younger. Members of ITWK receive a pen-pal directory listing all the ITWK members and information on how to contact them. ITWK is a great way to let Children with SCI know they're not the only kids in the world living with SCI. It's also a great way to let parents talk to other parents about raising a child with SCI. The ITWK packet includes Background information on NSCIA, common questions about spinal cord injury (Factsheet #1), statistics on SCI (Factsheet #2), and an affiliates list.
