Discount Cellular Programs for People with Disabilities

Cellular One and Enable Link offer a discount program to people with disabilities in San Francisco. Cellular One offers the special service for less than half the regular fee and cheaper rates, and also provides service representatives specially trained to help Enable-Link customers. For the disabled customers, this service represents "a supply line of independence, engagement and security in a world that is best tricky to navigate and often downright treacherous." Such special services are not only available in San Francisco. For example, Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile has disability programs called Cellular Accessibility in the New York, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas.
