Mark
Dorroh
News
Director Mark Dorroh has been a broadcast journalist
since 1988. He was most recently a staff writer at the
Hopewell News in Hopewell, Va., where he won top honors
for his column, "the noisy voice of reason"
in the Virginia Press Association's 1998 competition for
daily publications of 20,000 circulation or less. Prior
to his work at the News, he was News Director at
WHAP, Hopewell, from 1991 until 1998. He has also held
News Director positions in Wilmington, N.C. and Myrtle
Beach, S.C., and was a staff announcer at WCVE-FM, Richmond
from 1997 until 1999. He is married, lives in the Fulton
Hill neighborhood of Richmond, and holds a B.A. in Communications
Arts from Columbia College of Chicago. |
