48. (Col.) Joseph4 Fowler (Jonathan3, (Capt.) William2, William1) was born in Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut 28 September 1691.(131) Joseph died 23 June 1768 in Moodus, Middlesex Co., Connecticut, at age 76.(132) His body was interred in Moodus Cemetery in Moodus, Middlesex Co., Connecticut.(133)

He married Elizabeth Buck 15 September 1719 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut.(134) Elizabeth was born 16 February 1690/1 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut.(135) She was the daughter of David Buck and Elizabeth Hubbard. Elizabeth died 21 November 1768 in Moodus, Middlesex Co., Connecticut, at age 77.(136) Her body was interred in Moodus Cemetery in Moodus, Middlesex Co., Connecticut.(137)

(Col.) Joseph Fowler and Elizabeth Buck had the following children:
