William2, William1) was born in Hartford, Windsor Co., Vermont 27 December 1793.(318) Joseph died 27 August 1849 in East Bethel, Windsor Co., Vermont, at age 55.(319) His body was interred in East Bethel Cemetery in East Bethel, Windsor Co., Vermont.(320)

He married Cynthia Gifford 29 September 1815 in Randolph, Orange Co., Vermont.(321) Cynthia was born 16 October 1796 in East Bethel, Windsor Co., Vermont.(322) She was the daughter of John Gifford and Cynthia Kimball. Cynthia died 25 August 1870 in Royalton, Windsor Co., Vermont, at age 73.(323) Her body was interred in East Bethel Cemetery in East Bethel, Windsor Co., Vermont.(324)
