4. Joseph4 Moulton (William3, Joseph2, William1) was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts in 1744. Joseph died 12 March 1816 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 71.

He married Abigail Noyes 24 October 1765 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(608) Abigail was born 5 November 1744 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(609) She was the daughter of Daniel Noyes and Abigail Toppan.

Joseph Moulton and Abigail Noyes had the following child:

• 5 i. Mary5 Moulton was born in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts 30 June 1774.(610) Mary died before 1849 at age 74. She married Thomas Dutton 27 November 1788 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(611) Thomas was born 22 June 1769 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(612) He was the son of Thomas Dutton and Anna Coffin.
