He married Mary Moulton 27 November 1788 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(282) Mary was born 30 June 1774 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(283) She was the daughter of Joseph Moulton and Abigail Noyes.

Thomas Dutton and Mary Moulton had the following children:

• 7 i. Mary3 Dutton was born probably in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts in 1793. Elizabeth died 19 December 1885 in West Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 90.(287) Her body was interred in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(288) She married Thomas Sawyer Ordway 27 December 1824 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(289) Thomas was born 25 January 1802 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(290) He was the son of Thomas Ordway and Phebe ?.
