Amber DRPG

What's a DRPG you ask? Well, it's a Diceless Role Playing Game. I first got into it back in 1997, and have played it ever since.
The Amber DRPG is based off the Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. They're VERY goo dbooks and I highly recommend them. And they are a MUST RED if you're going to attempt to play Amber.
I'm on my 3rd Amber character, we take periodical breaks (at the end of a campaign) to play something like D&D 3rd Ed. or Cyberpunk. My husband loves playing Amber, and has played some of the most memorable characters I know.

Characters we've played:

Myst Barimos: Who has her own page, albeit VERY outdated. She was last played back in 2001, but remains my favorite. She was magick, of sorcerous blood and character. She harnessed the powers of Magick in ways none had done before, with help from the Jewel of Judgement, which she kept for a while.

Kaelyan Takmarin: My husband's character, who took great pleasure in beating the tar out of Myst. He was the Harbinger of Destruction, a true Chaosite. He ended up becoming the Keeper of the Logrus (gods save us all). I never ceased to be impressed and intimidated by him.

Alanna Sawall: Daughter of Mandor, this Duchess of Chaos has been given the duty of helping to raise the Prince of Chaos (Merlin & Gilva's son). Her specialty lies in assassination and unobtrusive measures to ensure that Chaos will remain standing. Even if it leaves only the House Sawall. She works with her older sister, Adira, to this end.

Zephon Serpentis: My husband's Priest of the Serpent. Incredibly powerful, but silently menacing. Noone knows what his true potential is. Noone is sure we WANT to know. Born into the Church, he seems a Chaosite supremacist, wishing the rule of the Courts to return to the Church.

I'm not listing our D&D characters because it's not our focus. Everyone knows D&D, but not everyone knows Amber DRPG. I'd urge you to try it at least once. We've had some INCREDIBLE games, epics, that our awesome GMs have put together :) And we've had the same group (plus or minus a few people) since 2000 or so, which makes it even better.
Well, that, and because the running jooke in our group is taht i have SUCH bad luck w/ saveing throws, I went through 3 characters in *1* campaign. Kid you not. One didn't last through 3 gaming sessions.
