15 Minutes of Fame Showcase on the cable access program
"Creative Vision:Visiting the Artmakers"

General Information

Creative Vision showcases artists and their works, through a series of half-hour public access television programs. The programs highlight artists who live and work in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area, bringing them to the attention of the community via cable-casting in the beltway area. Creative Vision is a complete art multi-media effort showing visions of creating art, experiencing art, and the rewards of artistic expression.

Eligibility

Open to all visual artist (All 2 and 3 dimensional media including photography) who reside in the tri-state area, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia.

Entry Fee
A non-refundable entry fee of $20.00 entitles the artist to submit up to 5 slides of their works. All checks must be in US dollars on a US bank. Please make checks payable to 2nd Street Studio.

What to Submit
*A current resume and/or artist's background statement, which includes day and evening telephone number. Additional pr materials welcome including photo cd (at your own risk)
*Entry fee ( non-refundable) $20.00
*5 slides of art work. Each slide must be label with artist's name, medium, size , title and dimensions. Please indicate top of slide. Slides should be mounted on thin cardboard or plastic.
No glass slides or thick plastic slides will be accepted.
*A self-addressed stamped envelope for return of materials.
*Additional contribution are welcome to support future Creative Vision documentaries

Judging
Initial selection will be done by committee from 35mm slides. Final selection will be made through individual studio visits and interviews.

Film Crew/Production Company:
Theses documentaries will be a production of Second Street Studio for Creative Vision, for Cable Access TV in the tri-state area. Producer and director will be award winning artist/ filmaker, Barbara Januszkiewicz .
