This AFB carb'ed 273 (called the <B>"273 Commando"</B> by Plymouth) used a <B>unique 10.5:1 compression, forged piston</B> that is no longer available from MOPAR or TRW/Federal Mogul.<br><br> <FONT SIZE=+2>B</FONT><B>ecause</B> of the difficulty in obtaining usable forgings many owners of the early <B>Formula S Barracuda/Dart GT</B> are forced to order custom pistons <B>($600.00 to $800.00)</B> or use the <B>8:1 <EM>castings</EM></B> available from MOPAR <B>(Kantor advertises these for $40.00 each!)</B>.
