ENGRAVINGS
The artist using a sharp needle first engraves the image on a zinc plate then prints it on archival rag paper through the engraving press to create black and white originals. After the completion of printing and drying, each piece is then hand painted with watercolor and 22-karat gold is added to some of the artwork. The artist does not stock finished work. Each engraving is custom made for the purchaser one at a time as a variable edition. Therefore, each engraving is unique in its own way.
