This is a report on the current status of finding people who were on the Jun 5 missing
list.
"NEED CLUES" means that we probably can't proceed without some additional
information. These are classmates with very common names, or who were not born in
Minnesota. ANY information may help--middle name, names of parents, siblings, spouse(s),
children, college or university, old address in St. Louis Park, name of city after
college, etc. ANYTHING MIGHT HELP, especially for Susan Cary.
"Need to contact" means that some possible contact information for the
classmate or, more often, a relative has been sent out and someone needs to call or write
to the contact. "Probable" means that I am relatively certain that this is the
right person and that the address or phone number is good or was good within the past
year. "Possible" means that I am less certain. "Long-shots" are
educated guesses. Many of our classmates have moved within the last two or three years, so
phone numbers in "current' directories may not be good, this trend may accelerate as
classmates retire, etc.
"Still looking" means just that. I've found all the easy cases and expect the
ones that are left to take a couple hours or more each on the average, if I can find them
at all. Any clues (see above) could help.
"On hold" means that I have given up for now because all clues have failed.
I'll return to these if someone provides a promising lead or when everyone else is
found. The links with these lead to pages with what is known about the classmate and
family.
"Suspended" means that I did a short check, quit after 30-45 minutes, and
will return later (before "on hold")
"Deadend" means that I have given up for now because either the search is
hopeless or the person does not want to be contacted. The links with these lead to
pages with what is known about the classmate and family.
"Scratched" are people who were on one or more lists but have been removed,
generally because they were not in our class.
