146. Samuel5 Fowler (Samuel4, Samuel3, Ambrose2, William1)(229) was born in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts 31 January 1711. Samuel died 6 January 1771 in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts, at age 59. His body was interred in the Old Burying ground in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts.

He married Naomi Noble 8 May 1734 in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts.(230) Naomi was born 8 March 1717 in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Luke Noble and Ruth ?. Naomi died 27 August 1797 in Wetfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts, at age 80. Samuel settled in the south part of Westfield, then called Poverty, and later called Southwick. He had a family of ten children, who all lived to grow up and raise families. It is believed that none of them died at an age less than 60, while most of them lived to be 80 or 90.
