He married Sara(h) Woodman about 1693 (not recorded), in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(68) Sara(h) was born 19 October 1670 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(69) She is the daughter of (Sergt.) Jonathan Woodman and Hannah (Anna) Hilton.

John Atkinson Jr. and Sara(h) Woodman had the following child:

Hannah4 Atkinson was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 21 January 1702/3.(70) She married Joseph Clement 4 March 1730/1 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(71) Joseph was born 1 April 1701 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(72) He is the son of Fawne Clements and Sarah Hoyt.
