4. Nathaniel4 Ash (Phineas3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born in New Hampshire 26 May 1765.(30) (Newton Twsp?) Nathaniel died 14 May 1843 in Lisbon, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, at age 77.(31) His body was interred in the Lisbon Cemethry in Grafton County, New Hampshire.(32) (David Ash family plot)

He married Elizabeth (Betsy) Coffin 24 November 1799 in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(33) Elizabeth was born 10 September 1773 probably in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(34) She was the daughter of Enoch Coffin and Elizabeth Kenney.

Nathaniel Ash and Elizabeth (Betsy) Coffin had the following children:

• 6 ii. Martha Ann Ash was born in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts 28 August 1816.(36) Martha died 16 September 1859 probably in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 43.(37) Her body was interred in Hill Cemetery in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(38) She married Benjamin Dutton 9 October 1836 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(39) Benjamin was born 11 May 1813 in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.(40) He was the son of Benjamin Dutton and Sarah Norton.
