George Edwin4 Dutton (Benjamin3, Benjamin2, Thomas1) was born in Newburyport, Essex Co., Massachusetts 18 March 1849.(394) George died 21 April 1903 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 54.(395) He died of a heart attack while sitting in a barber's chair. His body was interred 23 April 1903 in Cambridge Cemetary in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.(396)

He married Lena Katherina Stern 27 August 1884 in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.(397) Lena was born 21 August 1861 in Berlin Stadt, Brandenburg, Prussia.(398) She was the daughter of Philip G. Stern and Catherine Schmidt.

George Edwin Dutton and Lena Katherina Stern had the following children:

• 43 iii. Carl Henry Dutton was born in Medford, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts 5 April 1889.(401) Carl died 1 September 1944 at age 55.

• + 44 iv. Edwin Stern Dutton was born 28 February 1894.(402)

• 45 v. Lillian Bertha Dutton was born in Medford, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts 18 July 1900.(403) Lillian died 25 July 1952 in Washington, District of Columbia, at age 52. Her body was interred in Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Bladensburg, Prince Georges Co., Maryland.(404)
