Why do we call it new and improved? Because we've responded to you the Cigar Smoking Golfer, and have added the following to this Association Website:

1. Golf Links - The CSGA has listed virtually every golf site on the Web, so you can get all the golf info you need from ONE source...the CSGA!
   
2. Cigar Reviews - We know, we know...the Cigar Review became sooo stale you could smell it through the screen! So...we've made a committment to update this site once or twice a month. PLUS - we're updating this section with a review from Smoke Magazine of our own CSGA Nineteenth Hole Signature Series Cigar!
3. Merchandise - Now it's EASY to purchase CSGA items! Just use the Shopping Cart we've installed on the Site, and away you go! Also, check out all the great new merchandise we've brought to the CSGA...as well as the great prices! PLUS...More To Come!!
4. Membership - The only way that the CSGA can continue and grow is to have more people involved with the Association; so, not only can you apply (or renew) your membership online; you can also apply for the position of a CSGA State Director online. JUST IMAGINE: you as a CSGA State Director, hosting events, tournaments, and dinners, all with the help and support of the CSGA through this Web Site and through the newsletter. And speaking of the
5. Newsletter - We'll be putting the Newsletter online! You can still request a hard copy, but now we'll be able to update, add more features, let you know about more events, and all done online!
6. Discounts - We encourage all businesses who would like to participate in our discount program to e-mail the CSGA. as we develop State Directorships, we'll also begin adding individual State Discounts to the Site. We particularly encourage golf courses, golf manufacturers, and other golf accessory companies to take advantage of this FREE method of bringing new customers to your business!

What is the CSGA?

If a mission statement were to be written about what the Cigar Smoking Golfers Association is, and why its been formed, and what its main goals are...the person writing the mission statement WOULD NEED TO GET A LIFE! The CSGA was formed for one reason and one reason only: so people who like to play golf and smoke cigars could get together and HAVE FUN! This is not supposed to be some sort of serious, high minded, memorize the colors of the wrapper/discover the place where balata comes from type of organization! This is a group who believes there is nothing better on this planet than to be hitting a five iron to the green while puffin' on a Primo Churchill! The CSGA has decided that there are indeed two types of people in this world...those that GET IT, and those that DON'T GET IT! Those that get it understand the concept behind this Association: that a driver and a robusto do have some sort of symmetrical balance in the whole scheme of things; that a torch lighter is just as important as a putter in a golf bag; that the guy who brings the best cigars shouldn't have to putt out that tricky 1 1/2 foot downhiller for par. Why? Simply because HE BROUGHT THE BEST CIGARS! The folks that don't get it are the same people who bitch that the clubhouse is now selling "those stinky things," that complain that the smell of a cigar ruins their game-even though we play golf OUTSIDE, and the smoke from a cigar generally heads skyward (which makes us believe The Good Lord enjoys a great cigar just like we do!) and cannot understand how ANYONE could smoke during a round...that there should be INTENSE CONCENTRATION! So to those of you who feel that there is nothing in this lifetime more fulfilling, more rewarding, more relaxing than a great round of golf combined with a terrific cigar, we welcome you. To those of you who are here because you heard the CSGA Site carries every single Golf Site in the Universe, and are trying to lower your handicap from a 7.25 to 7.15 through hours of repetition, practice, and four or five of the latest "how to" toys and gadgets, Press Here...And Get A Life!!!
