SORRY -- S O L D!!!!!

The above photo, taken in the Winter, is of Archer's Hays, meaning Peter Archer's meadow. The land was patented to Peter Archer in 1654, and he arrived shortly thereafter, but it is unknown as to exactly when he arrived in North America. The original portion of the house, still standing, is over 350 years old and is one of the oldest wooden structures in Maryland. The land has had 16 different owners, and Mr. Leger is the present owner/resident. Archer's Hays is on the historical register. The property sits overlooking the Patuxent River, just south of Lyon's Creek in Calvert County. If you are interested in the property, the address is 11806 Rivershore Drive, Dunkirk, Maryland 20754. You may view a map of the local area as well as tour the house and grounds, online below.
