2002 Smithsonian Institute Silk Road Festival


The festival was held on the National Mall from June 26, 2002 to July 7, 2002. Local DC area Go volunteers taught and demonstrated Go throughout the ten days of the event. 2500 Go information flyers, 315 Way to Go rule booklets, and 100 American Go Journals were distributed. The volunteers included: Craig Hutchinson, Robert Schwabauer, Allan Abramson, Leonard Ellentuck, John Baker, Jonathan Bresler, Ami Bresler, Craig Anderson, Carol Anderson, Juan Pablo Quizon, Nick Quizon, Todd Heidenreich, Ken Koester, Horatio Blumenfeld, Jason Ramboz, Christina Zimmerman, Pearce Arnold, Brian Postow, Mike Brabanski, and John Goon.
