This event will be led by Jaqui MacMillan and Marcus Tilman Sims who will be our guides in journeys through movement, voice, percussion and drumming...

DIRECTIONS:
From 495 Washington DC Beltway
- Take the New Hampshire Avenue exit towards Takoma Park
- Take New Hampshire Avenue to Piney Branch Road, it is a few miles from
the exit and the road only comes in from the right (no road to the
left), turn RIGHT onto Piney Branch Road (it's at the bottom of a hill)
- Take Piney Branch Road for a few miles (cross University Blvd, cross
Flower Ave, cross Sligo Creek Parkway and Sligo Ave)
- At Philadelphia Avenue (Rt. 410), turn LEFT
- Go through a stop sign, and to the second light at the top of a hill,
it looks like the road ends here and you will see the Takoma Park Fire
Department right in front of you, turn RIGHT here on Carroll Avenue
- This road goes into Old Town Takoma Park...after you turn onto
Carroll, go to the second light (in the center of Takoma Park, there is
a small clock tower in the center), turn RIGHT at this light, the road
is still called Carroll
- Go to the second light, and turn RIGHT onto Maple Ave.
- The Dance Exchange is a blocks length down on the RIGHT, just before a
residential area, the address is: 7117 Maple Avenue

From DC, Dupont Circle to the Village Tree:
- Take Connecticut Ave north of Dupont Circle, just after the Washington
Hilton Hotel, turn off to the right onto Columbia Road heading into
Adams Morgan.
- Go through Adams Morgan, continuing on Columbia Road
- After Columbia Road crosses 16th Street, it becomes a one way street
and changes into Harvard Street (although it is the same road)
- Take Harvard Street to 13th Street NW and turn LEFT
- Take 13th Street all the way out....it will eventually curve to the
right and cross over Georgia Ave, when it does this, it turns into Piney
Branch Road (although it is still the same road)
- Take Piney Branch Road through a few lights, not sure how many, but at
one light there will be a school on the left and Cedar Avenue on the
right,  turn RIGHT onto Cedar
- Take Cedar, after you go under the Metro bridge, you will go to the
second light which is Maple Avenue, turn LEFT onto Maple
- Liz Lerman Dance Exchange is on the RIGHT, about a blocks length up
the street, just before you go into a residential area...

For those taking the METRO rail:
You can take the Metro to the Takoma Park station (on the red line).
When you get off the train, you walk straight ahead (up a small hill,
towards the 7-11, you'll see it on the left, there is a traffic light
there).  Keep walking straight ahead on this road to the next traffic
light, which is at Maple Avenue...turn LEFT on Maple and about a blocks
length down on the right is the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange...7117 Maple
Avenue.
