I like coffee, I like tea... Heck, I just like caffeine. I have to admit to being a sucker for anything with a nifty coffee-inspired motif. Recognizing that my wardrobe lacked any homage to the magical bean, I decided to take a plain, commercially manufactured t-shirt and transform it into a funky tribute to “the breakfast of champions” with some swingin’ cool hand-stamped art. The result is the Java Jive tee! Spinning coffee cups, tilted pots, and jumpin’ java beans decorate this high-quality, v-neck tee made in the U.S.A. The Java Jive is made of soft, café-au-lait colored, 100% cotton, with fabric-painted coffee cups and pots in black, beans in brown, with olive green “frames.” Would you like a closer look at the stamps? Pre-shrunk, hand-blocked (to maintain maximum size while they dry), and fairly generous in size, each Java Jive is hand-stamped and painted by me here in the studio—no two will ever be alike! Currently available in sizes 14/16, 18/20, 22/24, and 26/28. I will be making cotton tees in larger sizes soon, so that everyone will have a chance to wear a Java Jive tee.
