Fatima Jacket photo

Some tales can be told
without a single word...

There is power in primitive symbols. The images our ancestors used to weave their stories on cold stone walls still call to us across the ages. I fell in love with the art of petroglyphs the first time I saw them spilled across a rock face in a dusty Utah canyon. I remember buying a tiny copy of a prehistoric hunter chasing a herd of buffalo, and I still have it on my bookshelf today, 25 years later.

When I saw the Hand of Fatima, a mark of protection from evil, daubed on an ancient wall in Uzbekistan, I was inspired to create the Fatima Jacket, mixing simple symbols of centuries-old and millenia-old cultures in a bold, earthy design. I can’t guarantee that it will protect you from evil, but you’ll surely make a statement without saying a thing...

The Fatima Jacket is color-blocked in four complementary cotton colors, with two front pockets, a single button closure at the rounded neck, cuffed, tapered sleeves, and your choice of funky stamped images and matching beaded ornamentation. Length, 34 inches.

Fatima Jacket, $150.

As all jackets are one-of-a-kind, fabric patterns available will vary!
