We meet at a great site in Calvary Presbyterian in Wyncote! Meetings are Wednesday's at 7pm and
are usually over between 8:30 and 9pm. We have instruction and games. Scholastic players of all abilities and ages are welcome.

 We have recently added free USCF RATED games on Wednesday evenings for club members that also have a current USCF membership. 

Calvary Presbyterian Church is located on Bent Road, one block off of Greenwood
Avenue in Wyncote, three blocks west of the Jenkintown/Wyncote train station.

Warminster Fall Scholastic Chess Tournament

October 27th

Warminster Rec Center (WREC) 1101 Little Lane, Warminster, PA 18974.

 4 Scholastic Sections. 4SS, G/30. Tr: Open: 1st-3rd, 1stU1300.Under 1100: 1st- 5th, 1st U900, 1st U800, 1st Unr, 2nd Unr. Under 750 K-6th Gr: 1st-5th, 1st U600, 1st U500, 1st-3rd Unr. Under 500 K-3rd Gr: 1st-5th, 1st U400, 1st U300, 1st-3rd Unr. Ribbons to all not getting trophy, U750 & U500 sections. Team Tr: 2 School & 2 Club. Cross sectional teams allowed. Top 4 scores from each team; players can be in different sections. EF: $15 by 10/25, $20 onsite.

Onsite registration 12-12:45. Rounds are 1pm and then a.s.a.p.

Tournament should be over by 5:15pm

EF: $15 if all correct info AND $$ postmarked by 11/3, $30 after or if info wrong/missing, no exceptions. PSCF memb. req’d $5 (OSA)

Reg. 9-9:30 at door get 1/2 pt bye 1st rd. Please send advance registrations to avoid a first round bye and help the tournament director at the same time.

3 sections:

Elementary Championship: K-6; 5SS; G/30;  Tr 1st-5th, U1100, U900, U700, 1st-2nd Unr, Main Line Speech Consultants, Ltd. Top 3 each Gr 1st-6th, 1st-2nd School, 1st Club.

Elementary U700: K-6, 5SS; G/30;  Tr 1st-5th, U500, 1-3rd Unr, 1st School, 1st Club.

Primary Championship: K-3, 5SS, G/30,  Tr: 1st-5th, U400, 1-3rd Unr, 1st School, 1st Club.

Rounds: All sections, 10-11:15-12:45-1:55-3:00, Rounds after lunch may be earlier.

Special Prizes:

$50 Savings bond to top Lower Merion players in both the Elementary and Primary Championship sections. These two prizes were donated by the Ardmore Rotary Club .

Top 3 each Gr 1st-6th trophies go to players not getting a place trophy and were donated by Main Line Speech Consultants, Ltd.
