PakBase, non-partisan and with no official connections of any kind, is a group of Pakistani individuals based in Washington DC. We are interested in serious analysis of, and discussion and debate on all aspects of Pakistan’s society, policy and economy. This site will collect all serious writing related to this objective of PakBase and make it available to every one. It is our hope that this effort will bring forth a genuine effort to develop information and thought on Pakistan. 

We see that this site will provide the following benefits: 

  • the concentration of such efforts for developing knowledge will allow the country to be better informed and hence lay the foundation for better policy in the long run.
  • By providing an archive of the contemporary writing on Paksitan, we think that we will be creatign a greate educational and research tool. We hope that this site will become your educational and research tool.
