ALASKA

We started our photography of Alaska in 1975, when Steve was first assigned duties as a law enforcement ranger a with the National Park Service at Denali National Park. Some assignments with National Geographic followed a few years later. At first, Yogi took a few weeks leave from the Navy to shoot along, and over the years we have hit most areas of the state. Our files on Alaska are our largest and most diverse, from tiny subjects to massive, from shy to fierce, from placid scenes that seem to whisper to those which can only be described as volcanic - - literally a huge eruption from a very close orbitting Cessna aircraft.
