(Closing dates are 2 weeks before each show.)
RULES
- The Touch
Point Farm Dressage & CT Schooling
Shows are recognized by
CDCTA and VADAF.
- These competitions are run in
accordance with USAE rules.
- Appropriate attire is requested.
- Organizers reserve the right to
delete, combine or split divisions.
- Intro level riders cannot enter
above Training Test 2.
- MFS must provide sound system.
- Quadrilles must provide 2 copies of
the test.
- A Horse may compete in up to 2
consecutive level CT’s.
- For separate fees, the Rider may do
the CT, plus other Dressage tests, if desired.
- Rides will be limited to 70 per
show, with a waiting list created as needed. Generally, two dressage rings will run
concurrently.
- In case of cancellation due to
inclement
weather or poor footiing, your entry fee may be applied to the next
show
only. Please send in an entry form for this next show.
- Ride times will be posted by
Thursday, PM, on our web site: touchpointfarm.com Click on Show Schedules. If you do not have
Internet access, call the Secretary only between 5 PM & 8
PM the Thursday or Friday before the Show.
- Negative Coggins and signed release
are required to participate.
- Approved safety helmets (hard hats)
are required when mounted.
- Ribbons to 6 places for
Dressage-only.
- Ribbons to 6 places for Combined
Test.
- There is a $5.00 Late Fee for
applications that are accepted after the Closing Date. Refund less $5
after closing date, only if time can be filled from the waiting
list.
- No phone, fax or e-mail entries will
be accepted.

AWARDS
End of series Champion and Reserve
prizes, and ribbons will be awarded at the last show of the Series.
Horse/Rider combinations must compete in at least 2 shows at the same
level to be eligible for Awards.
Champion and Reserve prizes shall be
awarded in the following catagories:
Dressage: Intro Level, Training
Level, First Level
Combined Test:: Baby Green,
Green as Grass, Beginner Novice, Novice, Training
Champion and Reserve for both Dressage
and Combined Test shall be determined in the following manner:
- For CT, All ribbon points earned
in a particular Division, over the 4 shows, shall be added together.
High point shall be Champion, next high point shall be Reserve.
- For Dressage only, the average
scores of each Level shall determine placing. Highest average shall be
Champion, and next high average shall be Reserve.
- All points must be earned by the
same horse and rider combination, in at least 2 shows during the season.
- All points earned by the same
horse
and rider, must be earned in the same Division.
- Horses/Riders may compete in more
than one Division, but points earned shall be counted separately for
each Division.
- In case of a tie, dressage scores
will determine the winner.
- Ribbon Points shall be awarded:
7,5,4,3,2,1
- End of season high point ribbons
shall be awarded to 6th place.
