The U.S. Exporters are delighted to announce that team Hall of Famer Roger Morse will act as the team's interim field manager for the Spring 2004 softball season. "I think Roger will completely fill the bill for this team," said general manager Jay Hatfield, who retired as the U.S. Exporters field manager earlier this year. "Roger has made a big impact on this team over the years, and this will really be a feather in his cap!" Roger joined the U.S. Exporters in 1995, and won Rookie of the Year honors in his first season with the team. He has gone on to win three team MVP awards (for the flagship U.S. Exporters in 1998 and twice for the Masters team), has won two batting titles, has led the U.S. Exporters in home runs and RBI, and has won three coveted Top Hat Awards for being the premier player at his position. Roger was elected to the team Hall of Fame in 1999. Congratulations, Roger! Just win!
