Retrospective Brilliance

Why don't people pose the questions
when I have the answers?
Weeks will pass, then suddenly
the answer dawns and dances!

So I will fault my memory,
and laugh at my sad ignorance,
then pout for there'll be none to share
my retrospective brilliance.
