Line Of Least Resistance

 The line of least resistance,
      an Easy Man's easy way out:
 to dodge, to defer, to delay the inevitable, 
 to delegate the delicate,
 to deign there were some perfect way
 to lean aside one's life.

 The line of least resistance,
      an appropriate apologetic ploy:
 to list, to lose, to let it be,
 to last somehow relaxing,
 to void the appallingly apparent reality
 with one's feckless, misheld dreams.
