I was never a fan
 of the Shah of Iran,
 and I never approved of his scheme.
 Baktiar was fired,
 the kingdom expired,
 and I was pleased to see the Shah leave. 

 But why the hell
 are we now compelled
 to be silent in the face of oppression?
 Khomeini's regime
 is also obscene!
 Must we now be mute to repression?
