The Devoted Man
 To the wisdom of a devoted man
 I will offer my humble alliance:
 Hail to he who loves mankind
 but scoffs at religious contrivance. 

 For he will be a moral man
 despite what clergies will say.
 The love he bears will be more pure
 than those who've pretended to pray.

 So bow to the toil and degradation
 his hands will bleed to relieve.
 He is a man of simple selflessness
 inspired by human need.
