All That Is


I see in you all that is
   cherished and rejoicing:
The wistful, singing, laughing, dancing,
Tender and loving spirit lives!
And I see a friend.

I see in you all that is
    trusted and imparting,
Truthful and eternal, earnest and warm.
And I will hold you.
And you will be adored.
