Kate was an intern with the
Fellowship of Reconciliation
in 1981 and 1982.
We've been reading The Truth, by Terry Pratchett. We suspect that he
got some of his inspiration from the
Seattle Underground.
The town was simply built in the wrong place, kind of like Ankh-Morpork,
so the city fathers decided to raise the streets after all the buildings had
been built. City mothers would probably have done things in the right order.
But that, we were given to understand, was the "Seattle Way".

Erin Roth and Chris Giannella were married in May 2002.
This is the man of whom she said, "At last I have a boyfriend who deserves me.
... Ohhh! I can't believe I said that in front of him!"
We were there.

| Tony, Bobbie and Mary Reisacker |
Tony with fermenting wine |
These were taken in the wine cellar of Boundary Rock Farm,
situated at almost a kilometer of altitude in the Virginia Blue Ridge
and owned and run by good friends and former housemates Tony and Mary.
This is their first year of wine sales. They grow some varieties of
grape not usally found in stores: Seyval, Vidal and Cayuga White.
Their vintage comes exclusively from grapes grown by them on their farm. They are proud to continue in the tradition of the small family farm which remains
the main source of sustenance for the majority of people of our planet.
We are proud to share their wine with our guests. You may reach them at
(540) 789-7098 or email at
boundaryrock@yahoo.com.

Mary is just tickled to see us, as much as we are to see her.
Nancy and Woody were leaders in the campus ministry at Virginia Tech.
They started me on a lifetime of dissatisfaction and socialism.
