Luther and Martin Martin Luther
NEW! Luther and Martin. NEW! Martin. NEW! Luther.

These are newest guests, Martin and Luther. They belonged to a pastor (guess which denomination) and his wife, who had to give them up because of a relative's allergies. Now as you can see, these kitties are best friends. But note that the Little Bit is not in these pictures. Why can't we all just get along?

Little Bit Little Bit
Little Bit, Fall 2001. Little Bit being seductive, Spring 2002.

Little Bit is the senior cat of the house. She was a foundling who had been hit by a car. By the time we reached the animal hospital, the vet was unable to take her pulse because she was purring so loud. A good sign. Little Bit likes to show off her athletic prowess (or maybe all brown tabbies are like Findus -- HA/ADD?), but will be sure to make our house guests welcome, at least the human ones. She is still negociating with Martin and Luther about rights and privileges.

Little Bit Princess Emmy
Little Bit The Princess, who would pat John's moustache to indicate she wanted petting. Emmy.

The Princess was one of our first cats, from 1974. Her brother moved to a farm when we went to Boston in 1978, but being a homebody (and a terror to all mice), lived with us till death did us part. Emmy, whom we lost a couple of years ago, was shy, but loved to cuddle up with Bobbie and purr.

Bodhi and Maggie Rosie
NEW! Maggie and Bodhi, photo by Christine Lauterbach. Rosie, Mary Meehan's sweetheart.

Maggie and Bodhi are friends of Christine Lauterbach and UPDATED! Matt Simon live in Takoma Park. Rosie loves to have her tummy rubbed.

Silkie Ginger Maggie and Bodhi
Silkie, who is always ready to meet new people. Ginger, who is a bit shy, but a mighty hunter. Maggie and Bodhi, whose humans, Christine Lauterbach and UPDATED! Matt Simon live in Takoma Park. Photo by Matt.

Ginger and Silkie are the cats of the Pohlmans, friends and neighbors, who let John play with their kitties when they are away.

Hier sind einige nette Katzenstories.
