CASTINGS COMPARISON (a look at Musket Miniatures, Stone Mountain, Battle Honors, Peter Pig and Old Glory)
FIRE AND FURY:
GOTO: Fire and Fury Orientation Checklist that should be
followed before any FnF scenario.
Tom has always been interested in military history. Since moving to Virginia in 1966, he has concentrated on the War Between the States/American Civil War (ACW). A new friend in the Screaming Eagles reintroduced Tom to miniature wargaming in the summer of 1997. Tom's favorite ruleset is Fire and Fury (FnF), which is a Grand Tactical (brigade level) game for 15 mm castings at a scale of 1 inch = 45 or 60 yards, and 1 stand = 150 or 200 men, respectively.
Tom's first hosted battle was the Day 1 Gettysburg scenario. His fictional after action report was published by the Zouave magazine (For subscription information contact Ivor Janci at mjdesign@eagle.ais.net ). Zouave is a principal sponsor of Tom's scenarios.
Tom's FnF scenario for the Northern Battles of South Mountain debuted in finished form at HMGS East's 1998 Fall In Convention and has been published in Zouave magazine.

in the scenario.
Tom's largest effort yet occurred at Historicon in July 1999: 1862 Fredericksburg Grand Battle, FnF, 15mm, 200 scale, on a 16' x 6' table, depicting the battlefield from Hamilton's Crossing to Marye's Heights. Sponsors of Fredericksburg include: Zouave, Musket Miniatures, Scotty's Scale Soldiers, Battlefield Terrain Concepts (Doug Kline), Stone Mountain Miniatures and Tom Dye's new Minifigs. Please patronize these businesses that are helping us to grow the hobby.

As Screaming Eagles (SEs), a DC United supporter's club, we are very active during the MLS season. Tom is known as the GrillMaster, ever since the SE Tailgate Crew was honored as Sam's Army Most Valuable Player for the October 1997 WCQ game vs Jaimaica. During the game you'll find us standing in the Nest (section 134, row 1, seats 9-12). Bring your earplugs if you come to join us. Tom's 26" bass drum "Baby Boomer can get a wee noisy at times :P.(click on each thumbnail for a larger view)
We're also proud supporters of the US National Teams. We've been long-term members of Sam's Army and have beacoup caps (matches attended).
