Report It!
This is a form letter I use to send complaints to all ISPs where the spam originated.
Nail'em!
This will trace the source of the spam. You have to paist a copy of the spam with full headers in a window there, and it will give you list of all of the "abuse" addresses, where you would forward the spam with your complaint. This list goes in the (CC:) field on my form letter (above).
InterNic WhoIs
Find out the name and address of the owner of a domain.
Enter domain names(domainname.com) or the first 3 sets of the IP#s(000.000.000).

Description later...
MetaCrawler
Find the website a spammer is using to distribute his trash. Loosing a free e-mail address is part of the normal game plan for a spammer.
I believe a web page, advertising his trash should also go!
(For this example: set Metacrawler to find "Match Phrase".)
Now, just enter any one of the following:
Company name, phone numbers, street address,
also any line of print from the spam ad that you believe he would repeat on his web page(I like to use some unique phrase).
What I do is take the end of one sentence and the beginning of the next. See the following example just below this line.
[ beginning of the next. See the following ]
Websitez
This searches for all web sites with names used in spam. You will have to do some leg work to narrow the list down to the right "one"!
Reverse PhoneBook
Enter any phone numbers used in a spam to see if you can find their real address. This only works if they used their real phone number. A fake number, means they are just trying to through you off their trail. No worries, with the rest of my NoSpam page and all of those ".gov" addresses you forwarded that spam to, they will find out who's it is...
