Spam is sending: un-requested/un-wanted/un-solicited JUNK MAIL
sales announcements to any individual's e-mail address.
It also includes buying and selling lists of e-mail addresses for that purpose.

How do I let people know about what I have?
I feel the best way to be noticed is by making people happy,
not by offending them. Spam offends everyone!
I also believe that if a product is good enough, it doesn't need to be shoved in someones face. Anyone who wants something I have will be looking for it. I don't need to go out of my way to tell them and the rest of the world they should have it.
Example: If someone is looking for music, they don't want me telling them, "I have moon rocks".
The InterNet has some very powerful tools for finding what you want.
They are called "Search Engines".

The best search engine I found so far, is MetaCrawler.
If you want to find "Moon Rocks", then go to MetaCrawler
and type in "Moon Rock" and press "Search"!
If you want your web site listed, all you have to do
is send your listing to: Submit-it.com.
That's all there is to it! And it's all free!!!

What do I need to do that?
All you really need is a Web Site and a Web Browser.

If you’ve been the target of a "junk e-mail" scam, contact:

your Internet service provider,
your local consumer protection agency,
your state Attorney General’s office, or
The National Fraud Information Center (NFIC) at 1-800-876-7060.
NFIC is a project of the National Consumers League.

If you’ve been the target of a scam "sent to your mail box" , contact:

your local consumer protection agency,
your state Attorney General’s office, or
You can contact your local postmaster or
call the Mail Fraud Complaint Center at 1-800-372-8347.

You also may send your complaint to the FTC. Write to: Consumer Response Center, Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC 20580.

Although the Commission cannot resolve individual disputes, the information you provide may indicate a pattern of possible law violations requiring action by the Commission.
