  1. Right Click on the link below and then select "save link as"
    netscape.cfg
  2. Select your Communicator program directory (C:\Program Files\Erols Internet Software\Netscape\Communicator\Program) for the Save as folder
  3. It should prompt you to overwrite the existing file.
    NOTE: If you are not prompted to overwrite the existing file, you are saving it in the wrong place.
  4. Close Communicator and restart Communicator
  5. You should be able to change the homepage now.

    *  NOTE: For Multiple users of Communicator only!
    If you have configured Netscape to have more than one user profile, you will have to copy the Profile.cfg to each user's user directory.
    NOTE: This unlock has not worked on all installs of Communicator.
