Being weak of body, I give to my son Robert Carothers one
English Crown; to my son James Carothers $12.50; to my son-in-
law Samuel Sloan and my dau Margaret $2 and half of my
wearing apparel; to my son John Carothers $12; to my son
William Carothers $3; to my son Andrew Carothers $10 out of
his note owed to me; to my son Samuel Carothers $10 out of the
note owed to me by son Andrew; to my son Archibald Carothers
his note to me for £7.4.O Pennsylvania Currency; to my son-in-law
Absalom Woodward and my dau Isabella $10 out of a the note of
son Andrew to me, half of my wearing apparel, and my bed and
furniture; and to "my son by law Samuel Neely" one English
Crown. I give to my two grandsons John and Samuel Neely $10
out of a note of son Andrew to me; to my grandson Ezekiel Neely
my Bible and $5; to my granddau Mary Carothers my spinning
wheel; to my granddau Mary Vance Carothers my saddle; and to
