Alexander]. 30 Sep 1803, prb in Oct 1805 Ct by oaths of John Davis
and John Orr. Being in a failing state of health, I give to my son
Joel Alexander my negro woman Bet; to my son Oswald
Alexander my mare, half the sheep and geese, and my cupboard; I
give to my dau Kezia Alexander my bed and furniture, dresser, the
other half of the sheep and geese, my negro Jenny, a child of sd
negro Bet born 5 Sep 1799, a colt, and one-third of my clothes and
linnings [linens?]; to dau Esther Garrison the remaining two-thirds
of my clothes; to sons Joel and Oswald Alexander all the hogs that
fell to me by the 8 Aug 1796 will [of my husband Hezekiah]; to
Polly Alexander, wf of [son?] Silas Alexander a case [chest] of
drawers; and to Patsy Alexander, wf of son Hezekiah Alexander,
my saddle and bridle. The residue of my estate shall be sold and half
of the funds netted paid to my dau Kezia Alexander, and the other
half divided among the rest of my children. Exrs: Joab Alexander
