Specific Prayer Needs That Tommy survives this bone marrow transplant. That the entire medical staff involved with this transplant will perform all their duties professionally and the results will be successful. That Tommy will be able to cope with all the medical exams, tests, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, drug side effects, and a very long hospital stay away from his normal environment with family and friends.. That Tommy will not develop infections, especially during the first few weeks after the transplant. That the transplanted cells will successfully engraft in his bone marrow and start producing blood cells (i.e., red cells, white cells, and platelets). That the transplant will not be rejected. That Tommy will not develop complications such as acute and/or chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), liver complications such as veno-occlusive disease (VOD), interstitial pneumonia, etc... Strength for Tommy's parents.
