Hey there! Yep-I'm the idiot who took ONE TOO MANY pictures of Lucy Lawless in front of the Eugene O' Neille Theatre. I'm sure Lucy is wondering, "WHO THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS NUTCASE?!?!?!" In the HIGHLY, HIGHLY UNLIKELY chance she is reading this, I'd like to say I am SO, SO, SOOOOOOO sorry for blinding you with my flashbulb.

Oh-but the tale of me is rather boring to say the least. But since you've come this far, let me elaborate. I'm from the East Coast of the U.S.-Northern New Jersey, to be precise. I'm a struggling artist-wow, THAT'S being redundant, isn't it?? I'm a writer, and sometimes illustrator. I'm working towards getting published. I drive a school bus-and I'm trying DESPERATELY to find something else. If you've read my tale, LIL' YELLOW BUS, you'll know why.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always loved being creative. I've always loved drawing & writing. I've done a little bit of animation; I worked on an animated short for MTV called AUTOGUARD 2000, back in 1992. I also have done some cable-access TV, as well as a CD-ROM or two. I went to the School of Visual Arts in New York City for several years.

I'm heavily into film. My favorite directors are Akira Kurosawa, John Woo, Oliver Stone, Stanley Kubrick, John Sales and Terry Gilliam. Favorite films include RAN, (Kurowsawa) RAGING BULL (Scorsese), SAVING PRIVATE RYAN & SCHINDLER'S LIST (Spielburg) 12 MONKEYS (Gilliam) & OTHELLO (Orson Welles).

Also, I am a HUGE, HUGE fan of the Canadian progressive rock band, Rush. They are one of the finest rock bands in the world. If you haven't listened to them, you don't know what you're missing. (That includes you, Lucy. ) I like to call them the Thinking Man's Rock Band. Rush is Geddy Lee (bassist, keyboardist, singer), Alex Lifeson (guitarist), and Neil Peart (drums, lyricist). Their music is primarily hard rock, with elements of jazz and pop occasionally thrown in. They are CONSTANTLY pushing the creative edge. No two albums sound alike. As artists, they've been a BIG inspiration for me. I've been listening to them for the past 24 years. Their new album, SNAKES AND ARROWS, is out now.

The MIDI files that you are currently listening to are the best representations of the songs I could find. Except for "Middletown Dreams", done by Antonio Godoy and "Nobody's Hero" done by Jean-Frederic Vachon, most of the MIDIs here were done by Allen Graves. They are all INCREDIBLY talented MIDI-sequencers. What's unusual about these MIDIs is the high quality of sound and minute attention to detail-which makes these MIDIs fine introductions to Rush's work. The version of BRAVADO "LIVE" (on the main page) is a fantastic rendition of the track from the triple-CD live album DIFFERENT STAGES. This version of SUBDIVISIONS (currently playing) is pretty darn close to the actual song-considering there is a lot of synthesizer work in the original piece-which is off of the SIGNALS album (lower left cover). The LOSING IT MIDI on my Lucy Art Page also was based on the song that came off of the SIGNALS album. We also have MANHATTAN PROJECT on my Lucy photo-shoot page, and MIDDLETOWN DREAMS, on my fan fiction page-and the songs these two MIDIs are based on are off the POWER WINDOWS album (upper left cover). Finally, NOBODY'S HERO, the MIDI on my Potraits page, is off the COUNTERPARTS album (lower right cover). Of course, I hope you have a good sound card and plug-in inside your computer to be able to hear the intricacies in these five MIDI pieces. The fact that these MIDIs are so intricate and accurate is pretty damn amazing. Send them an email, and congratulate them for their fine work. To hear more Rush MIDIs, go back to the links at the top of the main page.

If you happen to be intrigued by Rush because of these MIDIs, you may want to check out the actual CDs below. BRAVADO is originially off of the album ROLL THE BONES (upper right cover). If you want to hear some Rush tunes now, scroll down further.
