Enrichment Programs
Creative Expression Creative expression through media such as water color, sculpting, drawing, dance and craft construction are encouraged at Wien on a dialy basis.
Computer Literacy Beginning with the Preschoolers, computers are introduced as tools to support learning. Young learners are taught to access programes, trace their progress and to seek mastery. Basic keyboard skills are also part of the program. Educationally oriented programs are used to reinforce basic knowledge in math, language acquistion, reading readiness and comprehension, geography and problem solving.
Special Needs This is a family support program offered to children who are "at risk" for developing learning, behavioral or emotional problems. The professional staff at Wien is available to work with the other professionals in designing and executing a aplan of intervention for the targeted child. Developmental and psychological assessments as well as family conseling by licensed professionals is also available.
