Dear Steve Feld,
On behalf of the ThinkQuest New York City staff, we would like to congratulate you on being accepted as a ThinkQuest After School Grant recipient. Thank you for providing a positive learning experience for your students by enhancing their curriculum with a TQNYC program.
We will be sending another letter to your principal, Anthony Rotunno, along with a check written out to John F. Kennedy High School by December 1, 2003. The grant money is based on the allocations provided by you in the application:
We will also be looking forward to coming to your school for a visit with your ThinkQuest New York City teams to offer additional support and workshops. We understand that your training schedule will be Tuesday & Thursday 3-4pm. If there are any changes to your schedule, please let us know as we will be arranging visits based on this information.
Your commitment to coach 20-30 students on ThinkQuest teams in an after school environment will allow the TQNYC program to expand and benefit many more students. We are pleased to offer you the TQAS Grant and look forward to working closely with you during the school year.
