Chess Set (in an edition of 9)

A set where "good", polished bronze pieces led by a philosopher king, confront "evil", dark patina pieces led by a bemedaled general.

They face one another across a stepped playing board, 53 inches by 53 inches.

Angels of Death

 

A trio of 36 inch tall bronze angels in their flowing capes with scythes at the ready.

They represent death by hunger, war, and disease.

below: is a detail of the Angel of War with the Angel of Disease in the background.

 

 


Top: Female Torso - A life-size high-polished bronze torso from the navel down with thighs apart.

Left: Horse's Head (edition of 7) - A high polished bronze 18 inches long. Inspired by the Greek horse's head in the British Museum.

Right: Don Quijote (edition of 6) - A high-polished with dark patina bronze of Don Quijote in his armor with his arms tied behind his back. Though imprisoned he remains defiant.
