I recently traveled to Zion National Park in
in Southern Utah. The pictures below show the park
through my eyes. Click on the link below to see the
official Park Service web site.

I stayed in the
Best Western Zion Park Inn, in Springdale,
Utah, just about 1 mile outside the park entrance.
The Court of the Patriarchs watches
over the park's Scenic Drive.
The highlight of the trip was hiking to the summit of
Angel's Landing.
The hike crossed the Virgin River and then followed a steep
winding path, up switchbacks and man-made trails.
After reaching Scout's Landing the hike
changes character.
The paved trails end and the real climb begins. Note the
chains the Park Service maintains to make the final ascent accessible
to adventerous park visitors who are not experienced climbers.
Returning from Angel's Landing at sunset.
There was much more to the Canyon, includingWeeping Rock
....
... Emerald Pools ...
... and, The Narrows.
