- The Shaman's Circle
One evening per week
Silver Spring, MD and other locations in nature
Starting Sept 25, 2007
9 months, $1290.
Class limited to 14 students. Full tuition due at the first
class.
This training is for those interested in learning about spiritual
healing and are willing to open their hearts to heal themselves and
to then bring the “medicine” back to the people.
This is what will be included in the training: journey skills,
working with power, spiritual protection, clearing space, spiritual
offerings, the medicine wheel, divination, extraction, soul retrieval,
working spiritually with death, deposession, plant spirits, long
distance healing, working with the soul. Each class will be building
on each other. You will be asked to practice what you learn so
you can walk your talk and not just be in your head about the work.
The training will be in three semesters. Each semester is an eight
week series with a weekend*. We will be learning most of the work
at the Silver Spring location. We will also have three weekends where
we will be in nature to deepen our skills and connect to the nature
spirits of the land. You are asked to commit to the entire training
to keep the integrity to the circle. This is a sacred space and a
commitment needs to be honored. You will need a drum and a rattle.
More will be added as the training progresses.
*The Fall class will only meet on a Saturday for the weekend class.

Weekend Workshops
- Plant Spirit Medicine and The Five Elements
May 5, 6, 2007
Gaia Healing Center, Mt Airy, MD. $200.
In this shamanic weekend we will explore how to use the power
of the spirit
of plants for healing. The Five Elements from the foundation of Polarity
Therapy will be taught as the groundwork for using the plant spirits. You
will need an understanding of the chakras and how to journey. We will be
spending most of the weekend outside connecting to the Earth and her plant
kingdom. We will have a fire ceremony as an initiation into the "master
plant spirits".
- Soul Retrieval

This weekend we will learn the ancient shamanic healing of soul
retrieval. This is an advanced class and you must have a working
