50. George Norton4 Dutton (Stephen Thomas3, Stephen Coffin2, Thomas1) was born in Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts 28 February 1828.(321) George died after 1890 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, at age unknown.(322) He was listed as a registered voter as of 1890 in Pittsfield.

He married Sarah Ann Ross 4 June 1849 probably in New Hampshire.(323) Sarah was born 27 July 1828 in Rochester, Strafford Co., New Hampshire.(324) She was the daughter of Simon Ross and Phebe Nutter. Sarah died after 1881 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, at age unknown.(325) Resided in Dover, N.H., where three children were born, and in Pittsfield, Mass., where their other children were born. He was an agent and treasurer of the Pittsfield Tack Company in Pittsfield, Mass.

George Norton Dutton and Sarah Ann Ross had the following children:

• 116 i. Anna Claribel5 Dutton was born in Dover, Stratford Co., New Hampshire 12 March 1850.(326) Anna died 7 February 1865 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, at age 14.(327)

• 117 ii. Mary Emma Dutton was born in Dover, Stratford Co., New Hampshire 28 November 1853.(328)

• 118 iii. George Dennison Dutton was born in Dover, Stratford Co., New Hampshire 27 February 1855.(329) He married Harriet Beach(?) about 1882 probably in Massachusetts.(330) According to the 1900 census, they had been married for 18 years.

  Harriet was born in August 1858 in Massachusetts.(331) George was a Christian Science Practitioner. He dedicated his life to a ministry of healing.

• 119 iv. Frank Wood Dutton was born in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts 18 November 1858.(332) He married Florence G. Colt 7 June 1886 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts. Florence was born 1 June 1864 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts. Her father was a Judge in Pittsfield. She was the daughter of James D. Colt and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Gilbert.

  Florence died before 1920 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, at age unknown.(333)
